Size-age structure of rock sole Lepidopsetta polyxystra near Southeast Kamchatka in 2003–2016
Size-age composition in the catches of different fishing gears and seasonal and interannual dynamics of rock sole was examined based on materials collected in 2003 and 2005–2016 on the shelf of Southeast Kamchatka in order to provide analysis and characterization for mentioned period. It was found during the work, that the size composition of rock sole was similar in the catches of different fishing gears and in different gulfs of Southeast Kamchatka. That creates possibility to use united data to analyze sspecifics of ize-age composition dynamics in the periods of different intensity of fishery, and in math models to estimate stocks of commercial fish species.

The status of the pacific salmon stocks in the rivers Nalychevo, Ostrovnaya and Vakhil (South-East Kamchatka) in 1980–2017
Stock abundance dynamics of sockeye salmon, pink salmon, chum salmon and coho salmon for the last 37 years was analyzed in the rivers Nalycheva, Ostrovnaya and Vakhil. Biological characteristics of spawners (including Chinook salmon) were analyzed in Nalycheva River, and a comparison to Ostrovnaya River was made for the first time (on the data about Nalycheva for 2017). Temporal groups were revealed for all salmon species (in exception of Chinook salmon) in the Nalycheva, and biological differences are demonstrated in case of occurence. Spatial and temporal diversity of Pacific salmon in each of the rivers mentioned was evaluated, and it is concluded, that urgent measures are required to protect salmon stocks in the rivers Nalycheva and Ostrovnaya were made.

The overview of the fishery of Pleuronectidae family species in the pacific waters off Kamchatka
Flounder catche statistics for the gulfs and waters adjacent South-East Kamchatka was analyzed based on the data obtained in the course of the trawl and Danish seine fishing of flounders on the shelf of South-East Kamchatka for the period 2003–2017. Trend to growth of the catches of flounders has been revealed in recent years. More than a half of the total commercial fishing days spent in Avachinsky and Kronotsky gulfs indicates of a high intensity of flouder fishing. Longterm average annual dynamics of the catches was also analyzed by seasons of the year. The analysis revealed having two commercial peaks: from January to May and from October to December. The catches of the flounder species of Far East, including contribution by rock sole into the total catch, were analyzed in the research. Results indicated, that rock sole is the main commecial species of flounders.
Analysis of fishing intensity and catch statistics was carried out for different fishing gears within the Petropavlovsk-Commander commercial fishery subzone, and it has revealed the dominance of the Danish seine fishing of flounders.
